George Washington was inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and made sure his soldiers were committed to God’s plan for America. The Continental Army was given the power, desire, and will to create the greatest nation this world has ever seen. He also preached the Word of God to others, including the American Indian tribes he encountered and befriended. He was a prophet on his own and made sure the center of this war effort was focused on the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are.”
– George Washington
